Acceptable Use & Abuse

Last updated 1 August 2026.

The short version

Do not use StashFiles to store or distribute anything illegal, dangerous, or that you do not have the right to share. We review every account precisely so this page rarely has to be enforced.

Specifically prohibited

Malware, phishing kits and command-and-control payloads. Child sexual abuse material — reported to authorities without exception. Content that infringes copyright you do not hold. Using the service as an unattended public CDN or open file drop.

Reporting abuse

To report a file or link, email abuse@stashfiles.lol with the URL and a short description. Reports about malware and CSAM are actioned on sight, usually within the hour; the account behind the content is suspended.

Takedown and law enforcement

We respond to lawful requests from competent authorities in the jurisdictions where our infrastructure operates. Because contents may be encrypted client-side, what we can provide is generally limited to metadata.

Transparency

We publish counts of takedown and law-enforcement requests. Nothing on this page is a promise to ignore the law; it is a promise to apply it narrowly and to tell you when we can.
